Jane Waters said, “Mrs. McNaughton, I think I have some information you might want to know about my previous tenant, Paul Ryan.” Gina reluctantly buzzed her in. She didn’t want to hear anything about Perfection’s former publicist, she hated him.

The gate opened; Jane Waters came down the driveway. Gina stood at the front door, “Hello, Jane, I don’t need to hear anything about your earlier tenant. My husband and I believe Paul Ryan is an extremely disturbed individual. We choose not to discuss him.”

Jane had a stoic look about her. “May I call you Gina?” Gina told her of course. “What you are not aware of is what I found in my house after Mr. Ryan vacated the home. He did a poor cleanup job. He hastily whitewashed the walls, slightly painted. However, with closer inspection I became aware that I could see through his paint job, uneven surfaces. What I found sent a shiver down my spine, truly chilling.”

Gina was nervous. “Jane, it sounds like you want to tell me something that is uncomfortable. Please just tell me.”

Jane could not make direct eye contact as she spoke. “Gina, he had a room solely devoted to pictures of you, plastered all over the walls. It was so bad I had to get the walls redone. Also, pictures of your husband marked out with a marker. Some even had his own face on it. I am shocked because I was of the belief he was a top professional PR man in Hollywood. This is not normal; I wanted you to know.”

AUTHOR Bio and Links:

Beth Pellino-Dudzic was born in the Bronx and grew up in Westchester County, New York. She earned a BA in Business Administration and worked at IBM. She has three adult daughters and a new Granddaughter. She currently lives in Alabama with her husband and their miniature dachshund, Truffle. Although The Perfection Saga is fictional, many of the stories hark back to Beth’s time in the Rock ‘n’ Roll world. Beth’s favorite pastime is football, everything football. She also is an excellent cook and baker.
